Job Description
Position: Data Entry Clerks (6 Positions)
Location: Abuja, Cross River, Kano, Lagos, Taraba and Enugu Nigeria
Position Summary: University Research Company (URC) is an international for profit consulting firm based in Bethesda Maryland USA. URC is currently soliciting application for Six (6) Data Entry Clerks on short term basis for a United State Agency for International Development (USAID) funded Vulnerable Children (VC) program in Abuja, Cross River, Kano, Lagos, Taraba and Enugu. The program is designed to improve the well-being of vulnerable children and caregivers through a sustainable, comprehensive and coordinated response.
Responsibilities include:
- Gather, update and maintain database
- Data entry in a timely and accurate manner into the web-based information system:
- Complies with or assists in the compilation of information for quantitative reports
- Conducts analysis of data collected from field
- Compile, son, and verify accuracy of data to be entered
- Maintain record of work completed
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications and skills:
- Minimum of HND/B.Sc degree
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good communication and writing skills
- Computer skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft office, SPSS and internet application are essential.
- Fluency in both written and oral English required and ability to speak Local languages is desirable
- Willingness to travel within Nigeria
- Fluency in the local language of the state where one is applying.
