Position: Construction Site Manager
Location: Jos, Plateau State
Job Description Summary
- A building and civil engineering company is looking for a construction site manager for a premium grade renovation job being executed in Jos Plateau State. The Candidate will be responsible for managing the execution of the project from its current stage to completion and final handing over to the client.
Requirements:
- A good first Degree in Engineering (civil or building) plus a Diploma in Construction Management, with a minimum of 10 -15 years experience and membership of the professional bodies; COREN, NSE or NIOB.
- The Building/Civil engineering construction experience must have 8 years in the area of top grade renovation works. The candidate should be fluent in English and fluency in Hausa and other languages is considered an advantage.
- Skilled in management of site construction activities with proven ability to manage the interfaces with various stakeholders during project execution. Strong project management skill set required including contract management, contract administration, scheduling, planning, financial control and management.
- Ability to use Microsoft software as well as specialist software packages such AutoCAD and MS Project will be an advantage.
