Vacancies: Quantity Surveyor, Project/Site Engineers

Due to expansion of our client base, we seek exceptionally qualified and motivated candidates to fill the following positions.
Position: Quantity Surveyor
Responsibilities:
- To prepare estimates and costs of work to be done per project.
- To manage the company’s cost profile relating to building and construction engineering projects.
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the Architect.
- Undertaking costs analysis for construction, repairs and maintenance project work
- Advising on procurement strategy
Qualification and Experience:
- A good university degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Geography, Mathematics, Urban and Land Studies, Civil or Structural Engineering or other related field.
- A minimum of 2-4 years post NYSC work experience in the construction industry would be preferred.
Position: Project/Site Engineers
Responsibilities
- Acting as a main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontrators, crafts people and operatives
- Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
- Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the Architect.
- Liasing with any consultant sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and general workforce involved in the project.
- Day-to-Day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
Qualification and Experience:
- A good university degree or HND in Building Construction Technology or Structural Engineering or other related field.
- A minimum of 4-6 years post NYSC work experience in the construction industry would be preferred.
