Vacancies: Senior Programme Officer, Office Receptionist
Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation is a non-profit, based in Kaduna. The organization’s thematic areas of focus are Agriculture-and Environment, Education and Human Capacity Development, Women and Child Development, Health, Leadership and Governance, Conflict Management and Peace Building, Economic Empowerment, Wealth Creation and Innovation.
We are seeking to employ suitable and qualified candidates for the following positions in our Kaduna office:
Position: Senior Programme Officer
Responsibilities:
- The Senior Programme Officer will work closely with the Director of Programmes and should have a good understanding of sectors and systems in Nigeria and best practices for improvement
- The person should also have strong evaluation and research background, understand program development within these sectors in Nigeria and put these into practical use in grant making.
Requirements:
- A university degree or HND in Social Sciences, Humanities, Health Sciences, Agricultural, Environmental Sciences or Education. A masters degree will be an added advantage;
- Experience with grant making and policy analysis
- Minimum of 5 years experience in planning, formulation, monitoring and assessment of programmes and projects
- Experience in working and partnering with donor agencies, international NGOs, government ministries, directorates and agencies coupled with an understanding of sector-wide approach
- Experience in designing, producing and managing programmes
Position: Office Receptionist
Responsibilities:
- The Office Receptionist will be responsible for providing front office services in the Foundation.
- The ideal candidate will be a result-oriented individual with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with the confidence to communicate across all levels of the organization.
- She should be able to work with little or no supervision
Requirements
- A good university degree or HND
- At least 2 years relevant experience in a professional office
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral with high proficiency in English language
