Vacancies: Architect, Principal Engineer, Principal Quantity Surveyor
Taraba State University invites applications from suitable qualified candidates for the following posts: –
Position: Architect (Contis 8)
Qualification
- Candidates should possess a Masters degree in Architecture from a recognized University with twelve (12) years working experience plus membership of Architects Registration Council of Nigeria ( ARCON); or a Master degree in Architecture from a recognized University with nine (9) years working experience, out of which three (3) must from a tertiary institution plus membership of ARCON and NYSC or exemption certificate (whichever is applicable).
- Candidates must be good in carrying out basic architectural designs for new and rehabilitation work, assess architectural design briefs, supervise draughts men, etc.
- Cognate administrative experience is of added advantage.
Position: Principal Engineer (Contis 11)
Qualification
- Candidates should possess a good honours degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) from a recognized University with nine (9) years post qualification experience plus membership of recognized professional body.
Position: Principal Quantity Surveyor (Contis 11)
Qualifications
- Candidates should posses a good honours degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized University plus nine (9) years cognate experience and must be registered with Nigeria institute of Quantity surveyor (NIQS); or HND quantity Surveying plus twelve (12) years cognate experience and a membership of Nigeria Institute of Quantity Surveyor (NIQS).
Conditions of Service
Successful candidates will be required to assume duty as soon as possible. Conditions of service are similar to those obtainable in Nigerian University system.
