Position: Professorial Chair of Mathematics
Required Qualifications of Applicants for ‘Pastor EA Adeboye Professorial Chair of Mathematics’
The successful applicant to this position would be called Pastor Enoch Adeboye “Outstanding” Professor of Mathematics, outstanding in the sense that he must have earned it by his or her accomplishments. Typically, a candidate for the position must have:
- A PhD in pure or applied Mathematics from a reputable University.
- An impeccable record of teaching and research career, as a Professor of Mathematics, for at least five years. Part of a demonstrable indicator
- of research achievements is the number of PhDs successfully supervised
- by the candidate. Overall
- Possess an administrative and academic leadership skill augmented by requisite communication and interpersonal skills and of proven
- Possession of cutting-edge information technology (IT) credentials will have an added advantage.
- Membership of learned societies in the Mathematic sciences is highly desirable.
