Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions in the Faculty of Law, of Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu.
Positions: Professors
(Department of Business Law)
Salary: CONUASS 07
Candidates applying for the position of Professor in this department must possess a:
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Law, preferably in the area of Business Law.
- The Candidates must have at least 15 years teaching and research experience in a recognized University.
- Candidates could also be either a Professor in another accredited University in the field of Business Law,
- A Reader or an Associate Professor of three years teaching experience in Business Law course(s),
- A Senior Lecturer of six years teaching experience in Business Law course(s), with proven evidence of productive scholarship and substantial publications in Learned Journals and other reputable sources.

Candidates applying for the position of Professor in this department must possess:
- A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Law, preferably in the area of Public Law.
- The Candidates must have at least 15 years teaching and research experience in a recognized University.
- Candidates could also be either a Professor in another accredited University in the field of Public Law, a Reader or an Associate Professor of three years teaching experience in Public Law course(s).
- A Senior Lecturer of six years teaching experience in Public Law course(s), with proven evidence of productive scholarship and substantial publications in Learned Journals and other reputable sources.
Method of Application:
Interested candidates for any of the positions should submit 30 copies of their applications accompanied by 30 copies of the candidate’s most recent Curriculum Vitae which shall contain the following:
- (i) Full Name
(ii) Age
(iii) Marital Status
(iv) Educational Qualifications
(v) Nationality
(vi) Professional and academic achievements
(vii) Publications listed in chronological order
(viii) National and International Honours/Awards
(ix) Positions held and other relevant information
2. All candidates must supply, on their application letters the names and addresses of three referees. Each referee must please be contacted by the applicant to forward direct to the Registrar, a confidential report.
3. The sealed envelope containing the completed application should be boldly marked POST OF PROFESSOR OR POST OF SENIOR LECTURER at the top left hand corner of the sealed envelope.
4. All applications and referees report are to be submitted under confidential cover to the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu to reach him not later than 27th February, 2013.
5. Applications not received by 3.00 p.m. on the last date shall be declared void.
