The Nigerian Institute of Medical Research, a Parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Health, hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following job placements
Position: Research Fellow I (CONMESS 03)
Salary Scale: (1,562,586.00 x =N=38,331.00 .P.A)
Requirements:
- A Candidate must possess Part I of the Fellowship of National or West African Postgraduate Medical College with evidence of interest in research and scholarship, in Chemical Pathology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Microbiology with interest in Immunology plus at least four (4) years post-registration experience.
Position: Research Fellow II (CONMESS 09)
Salary Scale: (1,316,488 .00x =N=36, 544.00 .P.A)
Requirements:
- A Candidate should possess PhD in Microbiology or Biochemistry with a minimum of 2 publications
NB:
- The Candidates for Maiduguri Outstation must be an indigene of any of the States within the North-Cast Geo-political Zone and must be ready to reside in the Outstation,
- The Candidates for Kainji Outstation must be an indigene of any of the States within the North Central and North West Geo-Political Zones and must be ready to reside in the Outstation.
- Candidates for the Abuja Office must be prepared to reside within the Federal Capitol Territory or its environs.
