Our client is One Of The Largest International Oil And Gas Service Companies providing products and services for drilling, evaluation, completion, production and intervention of oil and natural gas wells, pipeline construction and commissioning
Position: Completions Product Optimization Engineer
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Job Purpose
- The Completions product optimization engineer would be responsible for supervising the removal of drilling equipment and waste evaluating findings to test, develop or design equipment and waste evaluating findings to test, develop or design equipment or processes
Key Responsibilities
- Model alternative completion scenarios
- Tubing design and performance modeling
- Multilateral wells; candidate section, design and installation.
- Well test equipment selection, cleanup/flowback support
- Micro-bore well construction
- Design and installation support
- New well contingency planning and workovers.
- Project support and team secondees
- Strong business acomen and customer focus
- Actively shares best practices and lessons learned
- Provide assistance for customer-specific projects as requested such as onsite engineering services, training development and Delivery, laboratory evaluations, and engineering studies.
- Provide “quick response” capability for short-term answers to production engineering questions
- Provide consultation training, monitoring, and support
- Mentoring engineers & new hires
Participate in Health Safety and Environment (HSE) effort and accountable for achieving team HSE goals - PMP generation and accountability and participates in peer reviews
- Endure operational compliance with all laws and corporate policies and procedures by company and contractor peronnel as they related to the team’s activities
- Responsible for the security of the team’s project information and intellectual property
- Responsible for compliance with corporate and ETC policies for HSE within the team
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years Completion Engineering Experience
- Strong, established network with other completion engineers, both internal and external and services provider personnel
- Well site drilling completion and/or remedial operations.
- Must be able to design and plan early stages of well completions, including, tubular design materials selection and integration of equipment.
- Working to advanced knowledge of horizontal multi-lateral well bore design, smart well completions, completion equipment selection, reliability , and well test equipment selection
