Vacancies: Junior Civil Engineer (JCE1), Mechanical Engineer (ME1)
A leading International Civil Engineering Company that specializes in Water, Maritime and Food & Beverages Consultancy, based in Nigeria is looking to employ qualified individuals for the following positions:
Position: Junior Civil Engineer (JCE1)
Job Description:
- Will be responsible for site supervision of the contractor
- Conduct routine inspection on the site to identify any potential problems
- Monitor the site work and prepare status reports for Senior Civil Engineer
- Assist in preparing the designs, specifications, etc, for the project Supervise construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site.
Qualification:
- B.Eng. in Civil Engineering,
- Other relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage,
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 3 – 7 years post NYSC working experience
- Excellent supervisory skills
- A high level of verbal and written communication skills
- Good communication and computer skills (Spreadsheet applications, word processing, AutoCAD etc,)
- Outstanding people management and project execution capability
Position: Mechanical Engineer (ME1)
Job Description:
- Will be responsible for site supervision of the contractor
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematic and computer-generated reports.
- Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
- Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
- Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
- Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and Zoning according to specifications.
Qualification:
- B.Eng, M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
- Other relevant professional qualifications with recognized bodies will be an added advantage
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 5-10 years post N YSC working experience
- Excellent supervisory skills
- A high level of verbal and written communication skills
- Good communication and computer skills (Spreadsheet applications, word processing, AutoCAD etc )
- Outstanding people management and project execution capability
