(Lines Engineer)
Position: Low Voltage (Ref: PE/03)
Required qualifications and experience:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in similar line networks using 0.415Kv to 11Kv
Qualification:
- An appropriate degree from a recognized Tertiary Institution, a second degree is added advantage.
Job Summary/Objective:
Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical equipment and facilities.- Direct and coordinate construction, installation, maintenance, support, works, testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
- Should have expert knowledge and experience in the area of static electrical plant, including transformers, switchgear and cable systems.
- The role will include writing technical specifications, undertaking tender/design reviews, general project engineering of electrical works, technical failure investigation and providing expert advice to operational colleagues.
- You will be providing a technical consultancy service to client from time to time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is customer focus.
- Work with project managers to assure work meets business needs, applicable codes and standards of quality
Key performance Indicators:
- In-depth understanding of project management process including scope management, risk management, project estimating and budgeting, resource management and change management
- In-depth knowledge and experience in project planning tools including MS Project
- Must be able to manage field operatives
- In-depth knowledge of a structured implementation methodology, knowledge of any the company implementation methodology is an advantage.
Position: Generation Assets Engineer (Ref: PE/04)
Required qualifications and experience:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience on power plant operation management and maintenance, should have experience in electrical plant from LV to at least 132KV, work experience with an OEM would be an added advantage
Qualification:
- Ideally educated to Degree level with practical and theoretical experience in Electrical Engineering. Should be a Chartered Engineer, or working towards Chartered status, with substantial knowledge and experience.
