Our client is one of the Largest International Oil and Gas Service Companies providing products and services for drilling, evaluation, completion, production and intervention of oil and natural gas wells, pipeline construction and commissioning
Position: QAQC Engineer
Location: Port Harcourt Nigeria
Job Purpose
The QAQC Engineer would assist in technical documentation of QAQC process flow for CPS job technical preparation and inventory management and assist verification of QAQC procedure.
Position reports to: Technical Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Asset Management
- To proper utilization of stock on FIFO basis
- To ensure unnecessary duplication processes and procedures
- To have an understanding of what is applicable outside this region
- Proactively inform operation manager of potential SQ issues concerning new equipments
- Maintain SSA Region QAQC standard either new ones or adapted Global ones
- Promote the use of development QAQC job preparation procedures and processes
- Assist with familiarization of the ISO 9001 standards and requirements
Strategy:
- Monitor the success or lack of procedures put in place
- Act as conduit for communications between Region QAQC Supervisor and country manager
- Propose a roadmap and implementation strategy for ISO 9001 certification for WNL CPS PL
Technology
- Where appropriate identify areas for potential development in the Process and procedure and communicate these to management.
- Liaise with Region QAQC Supervisor function in support of location future developments critical technical issues, performance failures and process enhancements.
- Update procedures as required by new products and best practices.
Inventory
- Monitor and help maintain CPS inventory of sales items with the correct process in place
Personnel Training
- Assist in education and trainings, presentations in house of processes developed and procedure to follow
Customer Relations
- Communicate regularity with clients, monitor and evaluate client QAQC processes and feedback to location and CPS teams as required.
- Utilize customer contacts to develop an awareness of the customer’s attitude to Weatherford processes and communicate CPS managers. General Managers as appropriate
Improvement
- Help Country Managers identify potential improvements in QAQC processes and procedure

Job entrails travel within SSA Region on business.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Candidates must have B.Sc in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience on a similar role working in an oil and gas environment
