Vacancies: Master, Mate, Engineer
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and interested persons to fill vacancies in a Reputable Marine Company operating in Offshore West and Central Africa.
The Positions and minimum qualifications required are listed below.
Position: Master
- (Not more than 45 years of age)
- Certificate of Competency – Chief Mate <3000 GRT NCV / Master<500 GRT NCV
- Discharge Book – With evidence of 70 months cumulative sea time recorded and stamped by the Shipping Master.
- Valid International Passport
- Valid Mandatory Certificates
- Advanced Medical Certificates
- Medical First Aid Certificate
- Knowledge of Hydraulic Crane is an added advantage
Position: Mate (Not more than 40 years of age)
- Certificate of Competency -OOW (Deck) < 3000 GRT NCV
- Discharge Book – With evidence of 50 months cumulative sea time recorded and stamped by the Shipping Master.
- Valid International Passport
- Valid Mandatory Certificates
- Advanced Medical Certificates
- Medical First Aid Certificate
- Knowledge of Hydraulic Crane is an added advantage.
Position: Engineer (Not more than 40 years of age)
- Certificate of Competency– OOW (Engine) < 3000 GRT NCV
- Discharge Book – With evidence of 50 months cumulative sea time recorded and stamped by the Shipping Master.
- Valid International Passport Valid Mandatory Certificates
- Advanced Medical Certificates
- Medical First Aid Certificate
- Knowledge of Hydraulic Crane is an added advantage
Other Requirements
- All interested persons must have basic knowledge of English Language, Writing and Arithmetic skills and School Certificate with not less than 4 credit passes within a maximum of 2 sittings.
- Applicants must be able to work with minimum supervision, possess leadership and effective communication skills and be prepared to work unpredictable hours in unpredictable waters.
