Job description & Requirements:
- 1. The Technical Officer Clinical Services (Special Projects) will provide technical support to implement high quality prevention, care, treatment and health systems strengthening activities with primary focus on clinical care and public health management of HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria at the zonal and state levels.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
- MBBS with 1-3 years experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria including provision of antiretroviral therapy (ART) in resource constraints settings
- MSc. in Public Health with 3-5 years experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria including provision of antiretroviral therapy (ART) in resource constraints settings
- Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs will be an added advantage
- 2. The Administrative Assistant (Finance and Administration), under the direction of the Senior Finance and Administration Officer will be responsible for the provision of administrative and logistical services to the zonal office. S/he will also support the Senior Finance and Administrative officer in some finance-related activities.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
- Universal degree in Accounting, Finance or recognized equivalent with
- Experience in Administrative and Secretarial skills
- Accounting experience is an added advantage
- Experience with large complex organization is an added advantage, familiarity with international NGOs preferred
- 3. The Technical Officer clinical Services under the direct supervision of the State Program Coordinator and technical guidance from the Zonal Senior Technical Officer, will provide technical and programmatic support to implement high quality care and support activities with primary focus on clinical management of HIV/AIDS, TB, Prevention of Mother to child Transmission of HIV/AIDS reproductive health/family planning (RH/FP) and integrated medical services at the state and local government level.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
- MBBS with 1to 3years relevant experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained settings.
- Possession of an MPH or post graduate degree in a related field is required
- Familiarity with Nigeria public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable
