Yoruba Syntax
Qualification and Experience:
- · Applicants should possess M.A. or M.Phil degree in Linguistics or Yoruba Language with specialization in Yoruba Syntax from a recognized University. Applicants must also be able to show evidence of registration for a Ph.D programme. A minimum of 1 -2 years teaching experience in a relevant discipline/subject in a Tertiary institution will be an added advantage.

Igbo Linguistics
Qualification and Experience:
- · Applicants should possess Ph.D in Linguistics with specialization in Igbo Syntax from a recognized University. A minimum of 1-2 years teaching experience in a Tertiary Institution will be an added advantage.
Conditions of Service
The appointments, which are to commence as soon as possible, are for three years initially. They may be extended for specific periods or confirmed to retiring age. Fringe benefits include a pension Scheme or comparable arrangement as may be approved from to time by the University Council residential accommodation or housing allowance at an approved rate and passages for approved Overseas Study
Leave.
