Vacancies: Chief Yard Master, Technical Officer
BACKGROUND
The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) is undergoing reform in furtherance to the Federal government’s renewed vision for the Railway to enable it respond to the challenges of a new and modem Railway. A number of new appointments have been made recently, however some additional vacancies have been identified which the NRC now wants to fill.
The Candidates
The NRC is looking for dynamic and talented professionals with integrity and high ethics who will advance the course of NRC as a major player in the transport sector. They will be team players with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will possess good technical Knowledge with several years of working experience in relevant industrial sector and backed up with excellent technical and professional qualification.

Position: Chief Yard Master (G/L 08) (2 position)
(Mechanical/Electrical Department)
Minimum Requirement:
- Minimum of HND (Upper Credit) or University Degree Second Class Lower) in relevant field
- Years of Experience: 3years relevant experience relevant Professional Membership: Added advantage
Position: Technical Officer (G/L 07) (30 position)
(Mechanical/Electrical Department)
Minimum Requirement:
- Minimum of OND (Upper Credit) in relevant field
- Years of Experience: 2years relevant experience relevant Professional Membership: Added advantage

For Grade Level 07. only applications with minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (Upper Credit) in relevant field will be considered.
For Grade Level 08. only applications with minimum of Higher National Diploma (Upper Credit) for Technical/Executive Officer cadres and University degree (Second Class Lower Credit) for professional cadres in relevant field will be considered
In addition, all applicants are expected to possess basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of software packages relevant for different fields will be an added advantage.
