The Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) is a strategic intervention initiative of the Rivers State Government of Nigeria set up by law. The Agency has established the Workmanship & Technical Training Centre (WTTC) located in Bori, Rivers State.

WTTC is a world-class technical and vocational training centre pursuing accreditation from London City and Guilds and NABTEC Nigeria, It Is designed to produce high quality intermediate/medium level technical manpower in different skill fields. The centre therefore requires the services of experienced and qualified manpower in core areas.

 

Job Title:  Computer Teacher – 11

Job Objectives

• To assist in training computer trainees, applying approved procedures and techniques on all subjects related to fundamental of computer system, systems and windows operation, key boarding, spreadsheet processing methods, word/excel processing techniques, practical data processing.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver quality computer/IT training programs with the objective of progressing the Trainee to the desired level of competence as set out in the UK City & Guilds International vocational Qualification Scheme.

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Education: HND/BSc in Computer Engineering or Science.

 

 

Experience:

• 5 years post-graduation experience in teaching-out of which 3 years must be hands-on working knowledge of fundamentals of computer system, systems and windows operation, key boarding, spreadsheet processing methods, word/excel processing techniques, practical data processing and using E-mail in the internet.

 

 

Job Title: Assistant Catering Instructor

Job Objectives

• To assist in training catering and hospitality trainees in approved procedures and techniques on all types of subject related to fundamentals of the food preparation and culinary arts, food and beverage service, reception operations and service, and accommodation operations and services.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivery of Hospitality and Catering programmes with the objective of progressing students to the desired level of competence as set out in the UK City & Guilds International Vocational Qualification Scheme.

 

Job Requirements

• Education: OND or related qualification in Food Science/Technology or Hospitality and Catering related areas.

 

Experience:

• 3 years post-graduation experience in related training / business outfit, Possess and demonstrate recent and relevant experience in hospitality and catering environment of an international standard.
