Government of Zamfara State, Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital, Gusau

 

Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital, Gusau is a world class hospital constructed by the government of Zamfara State to provide secondary and tertiary medical services. It is a well equipped ultra modern 150 bed hospital designed to provide clinical services to the teeming population of Zamfara State and beyond.

 

To this end applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following posts:

 

 

(Clinical Departments)

 

Position: Consultants (CONMESS 5)

 

Qualification:

• Candidates must possess fellowship of National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria or the equivalent in the following specialties:

 

a. Medicine

b. Surgery

c. Paediatrics

d. Obstetrics and Gynecology

e. Ophthalmology

f. Dentistry

g. Radiology

 

 

(Medical Officers)

 

Position: Principal Medical Officers II (CONMESS 5)

 

Qualification:

• Candidates must possess MBBS registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria plus 12 years cognate experience

 

 

Position: Senior Medical Officers I & II

 

Qualification:

• Candidates must possess MBBS registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria plus 8 years and 5 years cognate experience respectively.

 

Position: Medical Officers II & I

 

Qualification:

• Candidates must possess MBBS registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and must have completed the National Youth Service in the case of Medical Officer II plus 4 years cognate experience in respect of Medical Officer I.
