Vacancies: Deputy Librarian, Senior Librarian, Librarian I

University Library:
Position: Deputy Librarian
Salary Scale: (CONUASS 6, N2,053,124.00-N2,684,096.00P/A)
Qualification:
- Candidates must possess a Ph.D in the Library and Information Science with at least 12 years teaching and research experience in a university or equivalent institution. Candidates are also required to have substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals, ability to initiate, develop and sustain research rejects. In addition, candidates should have some experience in working with groups and provide academic leadership.
- Candidates must be registered with the relevant professional bodies.
Position: Senior Librarian
Salary Scale: (CONUASS 5, Nl,653, 415.00- N2,348,299.00P/A)
Requirement:
- Candidates must possess a Ph.D in the Library and Information Science but with at least eight (8) years teaching and research experience in addition to substantial relevant publications in learned journals. Candidates are also required to have substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals, ability to initiate, develop and sustain research rejects. In addition, candidates should have some experience in working with groups and provide academic leadership.
- Candidates must be registered with the relevant professional bodies.
Position: Librarian I
Salary Scale: (CONUASS 4, N1,122,751.00- N1,444,536.00P/A)
Requirement:
- Candidates must possess a Ph.D in the Library and Information Science but with three (3) years teaching and research experience. Candidates without Doctorate degree must have a minimum of six (6) years experience in addition to some relevant publications in learned journals.
- Candidates must be registered with the relevant professional bodies.
Note:
- All candidates must possess NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Certificate of Exclusion
- Salaries and allowances attached to the various ranks listed above are the same with the approved Salary Scheme for Federal Universities in Nigeria,
- Candidates who are awaiting result may not be considered and need not apply.
