Position: Director of Works
- The Director of Works is the Head of Works and Maintenance Department of the University and is responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the clay to day running of the Department. He is also responsible for maintenance of all University infrastructural facilities in the areas of water, electricity, roads and drainages, vehicles maintenance etc.
Qualification and Experience of the Candidate
- The candidate MUST possess a good University Degree in Building or Engineering with a minimum of second class honours. The candidate must be Computer literate, must have had at least fifteen (15) years post qualification working experience, Possession of Certificate of registration with an appropriate professional body will be an added advantage.
Salaries and Conditions of Service
The Salary is as approved for Registrars, University Librarians and the Directors of works in Federal Universities. The duration of the appointments are as specified in the university law as amended.
