The Institution
The Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero was established by the instrument of the Kebbi State University Law No.6 of 2006 and was given official recognition by the National Universities Commission, Abuja to operate on 12th December, 2006. The University commenced full academic activities in the 2007/2008 academic session and has successfully graduated its first batch of graduates during the 2010/2011 academic session.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidate should possess a good honours degree (not below second class lower division from a recognized university in any of the following areas; Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture and Quantity Surveying. In the alternative, candidate should possess HND plus Master’s degree in any of the above mentioned areas.
Candidate must have a minimum of 15 years cognate experience in reputable organizations and should not be below the rank of Assistant Director (Grade Level 15 or Conunass 14) in the public service or equivalent in the private sector
In addition, candidates must be registered member of his or her professional body.
Salary and Condition of Service
The Director of Physical Planning and Maintenance is the Head of the Department of Physical Planning and Maintenance of the Univeristy. He is responsible to the Vice Chancellor
The post is on Conunass 15 in the salary scale N2, 232, 199 to N2,876,791 per annum and the conditions of service are generally as obtainable in the Nigerian Univeristy system as well as Regulations and Condition of Service of Staff, approved by the Council of the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero from time to time.
