Area of Specialization
Forage Agronomy
Qualification and Experience:
- · Applicants should possess first degree in Agriculture in the general area of Forage Agronomy, the Production and Management of Forage Crops/Plant Breeding.
- · A Ph.D degree with specialization in Forage Crops Breeding is also acceptable. Evidence of scholarly publications will be an added advantage.

Farming Systems
Qualification and Experience:
- · Applicants should possess Ph.D degree in Field Crops Production with at least three years teaching experience at the University level or at least three years working experience in a relevant Research Station. Publications in reputable journals will be an added advantage.

Plant Pathology (Bacteriology/Mycology)
Qualification and Experience:
- · Applicants should possess Ph.D degree in Plant Pathology with specialization in either Bacteriology or Mycology or both. Applicants must have at least three years Post-qualification teaching/research experience in a University Research Institute. Candidates must also have adequate publications in reputable academic Journals.

(Department Of Forest Resources Management)

Qualification and Experience:
- · Applicants should possess good First Degree in Forest Resources Management as well as Ph.D in Forest Biology and Silviculture with competence in Ecology and Tree Physiology. Applicants must have at least one year Post-Ph.D

Position: Assistant Lecturer
(Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Management)

Area of Specialization
Ecotourism Management Wildlife Genetics
Qualification and Experience:
- · Applicants should possess B.Sc, and M.Sc. degrees in Wildlife Management with specialization in Ecotourism Management and/or Wildlife Genetics.
Conditions of Service
The appointments, which are to commence as soon as possible, are for three years initially. They may be extended for specific periods or confirmed to retiring age. Fringe benefits include a pension Scheme or comparable arrangement as may be approved from to time by the University Council residential accommodation or housing allowance at an approved rate and passages for approved Overseas Study
Leave.
