Medical Director at Federal Medical Centre, Gusau

The Board of Management of Federal Medical Centre Gusau hereby invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerians for consideration for appointment as Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Gusau.

 

Position: Medical Director

 

Duties:

In line with Decree No, 10 of 1985 now referred to as Cap 463, The Medical Director would be charged with the responsibility for the execution of the policies and matters affecting the day-to-day management of the affairs of the Hospital subject to the general control of the Board of Management.

Requirements:

Applicants for the post are required to:

a)     Be a Medical Doctor who is medically qualified and registered with The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria for a period of not less than 12 years.

b)    Hold a Post-graduate medical qualification that is duly registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria,

c)     Have been a practising Consultant in his/her specialty for at least five (5) years,

d)    Be of proven good character,

e)     Not be more than 55 years of age

f)      Have had considerable administrative experience in matters of health.

g)     Possession  of management qualification  will  be  an  added advantage

Conditions Service

  • The salary is consolidated and the appointee shall enjoy other benefits of office as may be approved from time to time by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
