The Federal University, Wukari, Taraba State is one of the nine newly established  Federal Universities in Nigeria. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates  to fill the  positions  below in the  University  for non teaching Staff.

Central Laboratory/Equipment Maintenance Services unit

 

Position: Science Laboratory Technologists II

(Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology) – Contiss 7

 

Qualification

Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus NYSC and membership of NISLT

 

Position: Senior Science Laboratory Instrument Technologists (Contiss 9)

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus six (6) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of relevant professional bodies or a Masters degree from a recognized  University in a relevant  field plus three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience and  membership of relevant  professional bodies.

 

Note

  • All Candidates must possess an NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Certificate of Exclusion where applicable;
  • Salaries and Allowances attached to the various vacancies are the same with the  approved  Salary Scheme for Federal Universities in Nigeria:
  • Candidates who are awaiting results may not be considered and need not apply; Computer literacy is required for all officer cadre and above.

  • Candidates should forward their application in an envelope with the position applied for clearly indicated on the left-hand corner
  • Candidates should also request their three Referees to forward their reference letters under separate cover to the Registrar, Federal University Wukari.
