Vacancies: Senior Lecturer, Lecturer I, Lecturer II, Assistant Lecturer
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following vacant positions in the Faculty of Law, Lagos State University.
FACULTY OF LAW
Lecturers are required in the following Departments:
- Department of Public Law
- Department of Private and Property Law
- Department of Islamic Law
- Department of Business Law
- Department of Jurisprudence and International Law
Position: Senior Lecturer
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Candidates must be holder of good First and Second degree in relevant field. Applicants should possess Ph.D with at least six [6] years teaching experience.
Position: Lecturer I
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Holders of LL.B (Hons.) LLM degree in Common Law with teaching experience in Law courses in a Faculty of Law of any reputable University recognized by Lagos State University Senate. All candidates must have at least five [5] years of a Faculty of Law teaching experience.
- Acquisition of M.Phil/Ph.D or any other degree is an added advantage. Candidates must have substantial publications in learned journals.
Position: Lecturer II
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Holders of LL.B and LL.M degrees with honours. Research publications in learned journal will be an added advantage.
- Acquisition of M.Phil/Ph.D is an added advantage.
Position: Assistant Lecturer
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Holders of LL.B and LL.M degrees with honours.
Conditions of Service:
As contained in the approved Conditions of Service guiding Senior Staff of the University.
