Ire Clay Products Ltd was established in 2008 to take over the moribund asset of Ondo State Brick works Limited which was established in 1981. The factory which has been shut down since 1998 is being rehabilitated by Ekiti State Government and Odu’a Investment Company Ltd. The rehabilitation exercise which began in 2009 has reached an advance stage. The factory will be commissioned in the last week of December 2012 and is expected to resume Commercial operation in January 2013.
Ire Clay Products Ltd is designed to produce 20 million Bricks per annum of different sizes of red brick ranges from fencing Brides, sum Breakers, Load Bearing wall facing lintel and decking materials. The company therefore is looking for competent, young and qualified personnel to fill the following vacancies.
Position: HR Manager (Human Resources)
The job functionally reports to the Head of Human Resources to the General Manager.
Job Purpose
He/ She Provides HR Leadership including contributing to business plans white working other management staff in implementing the HR strategy, policies and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the implementation of the Human Resource strategy, policies and procedures including recommending alignment to global and internal and external standards.
- Ensure good Employee relations.
- Determining Talent priorities and Organization capability to meet the business goals.
- Support and lead change management, leadership competency development and create unique culture for the organization.
- Implementation of robust HR disciplines in Talent Management areas aligned to people development and a result oriented culture.
- Lead HR compliance in the with local regulations and standards and to proactively manage business risk in the areas of HR Management.
