Ire Clay Products Ltd was established in 2008 to take over the moribund asset of Ondo State Brick works Limited which was established in 1981, The factory which has been shut down since 1998 is being rehabilitated by Ekiti State Government and Odu’a Investment Company Ltd. The rehabilitation exercise which began in 2009 has reached an advance stage. The factory will be commissioned in the last week of December 2012 and is expected to resume Commercial operation in January 2013.

 

Ire Clay Products Ltd is designed to produce 20 million Bricks per annum of different sizes of red burnt brick ranges from fencing Bricks, sum Breakers, Load Bearing wall facing lintel and decking materials. The company therefore is looking for competent, young and qualified personnel to fill the following vacancies.

 

Position: Manager, Sales Marketing

 

Reporting to the GM/CEO, the ideal candidate will have primary responsibility for the Company’s sales and marketing activities, including product innovation, marketing and customer retention. Inherent in this is the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies with a view to increasing the Company’s market share and profitability.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the formulation and implementation of the Company’s overall Sales and marketing strategies
  • Manage and deepen customer relationship with existing and prospective customers in order to increase profitability, growth, increase in market share, and customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate the development of innovative product and service categories, as well as identify new markets, in order to maximise safes and marketing opportunities.

 

Qualification and Experience

  • A good first degree or its equivalent from a reputable institution. Possession of higher degree(s) in Marketing or Business Administration or other relevant professional qualifications) will be an advantage.
  • A minimum of fifteen (10) years’ relevant work experience, including at least five (5) years’ in a senior management position.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing, channel development management, pricing and profitability and strategic planning.
  • Proven business development skills and strong entrepreneurial outlook.
  • Strong customer service orientation and knack for breaking new grounds.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiating, relationship building, team-working, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills.

 

 

 

Position: HR Manager

The job functionally reports to the Head of Human Resources to the General Manager.

 

Job Purpose

He/She Provides HR Leadership including contributing to business plans while working other management staff in implementing the HR strategy, policies and processes.

 

 

Key Responsibilities.

  • Leading the implementation of the Human Resource strategy, policies and procedures including recommending alignment to global and Internal and external standards.
  • Ensure good Employee relations
  • Determining latent prorities and Organization capability to meet the business goals.
  • Support and lead change management, leadership competency development and create unique culture for the organization.
  • Implementation of robust HR disciplines in Talent Management areas aligned to people development and a result oriented culture.
  • Lead HR compliance in the with local regulations and standards and to proactively manage business risk in the areas of HR Management

 

 

Position: HR Officers/Trainees

 

Qualification

  • Degree in Management Sciences, Humanity and Social Sciences may apply for this position.
