Position: Marketer
Location: Abuja
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will effectively manage existing and new relationship with clients, ensuring that annual personal and branch target are met and premium collected. Specific responsibilities will include:
Effectively manage all existing and new clients with the aim of generating insurance businesses and meeting agreed set targets
Support branch Head in achieving the branch target and by extension the regional target.
Qualifications/ Experience and Attributes:
- Minimum of 2:2 in any related discipline from a reputable university.
- Over 3 years Insurance/financial service marketing experience in Abuja and or Northern region.
- Good knowledge of the territorial market
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to speak Hausa will be an added advantage.
Position: Technical Analyst
Reporting to Regional Technical Officer, the successful candidate will work in a team that ensures the smooth running of technical operations in the underwriting unit and provide excellent services to all out clients. The specific duties will include to:
- Prepare policy documents; negotiate rates, terms and conditions for various insurance businesses, subject to Regional technical officer’s approval.
- Ensure that all transactions are promptly and accurately documented
- keep tract of renewals and follow-up on un-renewed businesses to ensure they are renewed
- Follow-up on premiums from Brokers/Clients with the credit control
- Liaise with claims unit on claims and also with fops for the settlement cheque
- verify endorsements and policy document before dispatch.
Qualifications/experience and Attributes
- Minimum of 2.2 in Insurance or related discipline from a reputable university
- Minimum of 5 years core underwriting experience
- Not more than 32 years
Position: Graduate Trainees
Specific Qualification
- Minimum of 2.2 from a reputable university
- Excellent people skills
- Ability to challenge the norm
- Must be below 28 years by April 30th 2012
- Ability to speak Hausa will be an added advantage.
