Chemonics seeks senior-level health specialists for in anticipated USAID-funded health project to expand the use of best practices in HIV /AIDS throughout West Africa. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making difference in the lives of people around the world.

 

Position:     Senior-Level Health Specialists

Long-and short-term technical assignments may involve the following technical areas:

 

  • HIV/AIDS
  • Reproductive health and family planning
  • Maternal, Neonatal, and child health
  • Nutrition
  • Tuberculosis
  • Health Systems
  • Health communications
  • Monitoring and evaluation
  • Knowledge management
  • Grants management

 

Qualifications:

  • M.P.M., M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent combination of education and work experience in health-related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in developing countries with a focus in one of the technical areas listed above (additional experience may be required for specific positions)
  • Experience working with USAID or other donor-funded projects
  • Demonstrated leadership. Versatility, and integrity
  • Proficiency in English and French preferred

 

We are also looking for long-term senior leadership positions, including a Chief and Deputy Chief of Party.

 

Position:     Senior Leadership

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide overall program direction and technical expertise
  • Serve is the project’s principal liaison with USAID, institutions, and client partners
  • Provide managerial and technical support to technical specialists
  • Supervise project subcomponents, activities, and a diverse professional staff.

 

Qualifications:

  • M.P.M., M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent combination of education and work experience in health-related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in developing countries with a focus in one of the technical areas listed above (additional experience may be required for specific positions)
