The United States Agency for international Development (USAID) has awarded a grant to Family Health International (FHI 360) to implement interventions for Strengthening Integrated Delivery of HIV/AIDS Services in Nigeria. FHI 360 desires to sub grant part of the grant to Nigerian indigenous organizations that can effectively engage networks of CBOs and FBOs to develop implement effective integrated community-based HIV/AIDS prevention and care programs in 20 selected states of Nigeria. In Dec, 2011 and Jan 2012, FHI 360 issued a Call For Proposals (CFP) for the 20 states. This request is to cover the following states where no successful applicants emerged from the previous advertisements: Kano, Enugu, Sokoto, Edo, Adamawa and Niger. FHI 360 is soliciting proposals from indigenous Nigerian organizations with interest and capacity to deliver state-wide integrated community-based HIV/AIDS services to beneficiaries most whom were formerly supported by the GHAIN project in the target states.

- Grant size: Naira 5,000,000 to 10,000 000 annually
- Possible project life: Five years
Who can apply?
- Registered Nigerian civil society organizations: (non-governmental organizations (NGOs), faith-based organizations (FBOs) and community-based organizations (CBOs) currently providing integrated community-based HIV/AIDS services in any of the above states. Organizations may apply individually or in partnership with others, and may obtain technical assistance from any type of organization. Each selected applicant will be required to cover the whole state through sub granting to other CBOs and FBOs. New applicants are encouraged to partner with CBOs that supported OVC through the GHAIN project.

Deadline for submission of proposals:
All proposals must be submitted on or before 16th March, 2012 by 4:00 pm Nigeria time, to the addresses given above. Any proposals submitted after the deadline aforementioned will be disregarded.
