Vacancies: Lecturer III, Assistant Lecturer, Librarian II, Senior Librarian
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacancies in the Jigawa State Institute of Information Technology, Kazaure
Academic Staff
Position: Lecturer III (in Computer Engineering)
Minimum Requirements:
- A good Honors’ Degree at least second class lower or equivalent in relevant field, with at least 3 years relevant, experience.
- Master’s degree holder or equivalent in relevant field,
- in addition, a candidate must be registered with relevant professional body.
Position: Assistant Lecturer (in Mathematics/Computing)
Minimum Requirements:
- A good holder of Degree in Mathematics/Computer Science with at least second class lower division or equivalent in relevant field.
Position: Librarian II
Minimum Requirements:
- First degree in Library/Information Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Computer literacy.
Position: Senior Librarian
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in library/Information Science with at least three (3) years cognate experience.
- First degree plus Postgraduate Diploma in Library/Information Science with at least five (5) years cognate experience.
- Computer Literacy,
- In addition to the requirements above, candidate for this post should have at least one (1) journal article accepted for publication or evidence of presentation of at least two (2) seminar or conference papers/exhibition.
- Candidate must be registered with relevant professional body.
