Position: Network/installation Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Summary:
The Installation and Network Engineer will handle all design, installation, programming, and Service for all cable infrastructure, and bandwidth solutions sold. And also ensure all Networking and Installation projects in line with the company’s processes and procedures.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide second-level technical support
- Perform Network support functions for corporate clients
- Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
- Perform and coordinate effective installation and performance of advanced operating system hardware and software on servers.
- Support and maintain end user requirements, including troubleshooting, account maintenance and training.
- Maintain, monitor, analyze system components and make recommendations regarding computer system security, monitor network, computer and disk utilization.
- Manage the IT system to meet strategic goals.
Required Competencies:
- Ability to implement and troubleshoot various WAN Networks running various routing protocols like EIGRP, MPLS VPNs and Mobile IP networks.
- High level of proficiency with the use of network monitoring and analysis tools like Salarwinds Network Performance Monitor, Salarwinds Engineer Toolset, Whats-up Gold.
Position: Returns and Compliance Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Summary:
The Returns and Compliance officer will ensure optimal tax planning and that the company makes due remittances to specified state and federal law and order. He/she will be required to ensure required returns are made to various government statutory bodies as at when due.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with telecommunications license provisions, sector regulations and competition laws Flag and ensure due remittances are made to various regulatory bodies according to specified state and federal law and order
- Liaise with internal auditors to ensure accurate deduction of taxes and prompt rendering of returns ensure accuracy and timeliness of tax remittance
- Liaise with Bankers and other financial/Government Institutions, External Auditors and Statutory Compliance officers in carrying out audits to determine the organization’s compliance level to various statutory agencies.
Required Competencies:
- Candidates should have B.Sc /HND with minimum of second Upper division /Upper Credit in a Business related degree (finance and Accounting)
- Minimum of 3 years working experience, 2 years of which should have worked as a Returns and Compliance Officer
- Excellent analytical and audit skills
- Knowledge of tax, NCC and other statutory requirements
