Our client, Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), established as a resolution vehicle/stabilizing and revitalizing tool in the Nigerian economy is seeking to recruit qualified professionals as team heads and team members to fill the positions below:
Position: Operations and Infrastructure User Support
Responsibilities
- Manage IT Helpdesk to ensure efficient service and problem management
- Conduct service quality survey, issues notification and feedback
- Ensure all incidents are resolved
- Manage disruptions and incidents.
Requirements
- Applicant must have First degree in Computer Science, information Technology, Electrical/Electronics, Mathematics and/or other Science or Engineering based subjects
- Should have 3-5 years cognate experience.
General Requirements
- Applicants must have First degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Systems Engineering or Operational Sciences with strong Information Systems component.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skill
- In-depth knowledge of choose area.
Position: IT Operations and Infrastructure/Data Centre Operation
Responsibilities
- Ensure day-to-day operations of all data center and hosting resources (Servers, Storage, Switches, Racks, Power & safety equipment)
- Manage day-to-day relationships with data center vendors in line with SLAs
- Operationalise established policies and procedures for data center and hosting services
- Ensure start and End of day activities are performed according to established standards
- Control & monitor access to the data center(s)
- Ensure all Outsourced services are delivered in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW)
- Perform batch/job processing
- Implement disaster recovery procedures when necessary
- Ensures backups are taken and delivered off site
- Administer databases and operating systems.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess appropriate second degree (M.sc,) and/or technical certifications will be an added advantage.
- Must have a minimum of 4-6 years cognate experience.
