Our Client is a First-class Indigenous company with franchises for the marketing and Distribution of key brands of European,  American and Asian Trucks covering Tractor Heads, Cargo Trucks, Dump Trucks and Flat beds. They are also involved in the Importation, Sales and Maintenance of various Heavy Duty Construction Equipment, Generators, Transformers and Large stocks of various Heavy Duty Construction Equipment, Generators, Transformers and Large stocks of various spare parts required to run the above Trucks and Equipment. As a result of expansion and strategic repositioning and in line with vision to be among the top 3 in this sector, our client seeks the immediate employment of the following  can-do, result oriented and exceptional individuals for the following positions:

 

Position: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Summary of Role

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) supports the work of the Company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) focusing on the establishment and optimization of day-to-day operations in the Company.   A senior management position, the role is for seasoned and qualified professional with visionary leadership skills in business development, project management, organizational development, strategic planning, and change management in managing the company’s operations; willing and eager to take on risky and difficult assignments and driven by results

The holder must be an accomplished leader and team builder with strong and consistent record of improving operational performance. Has  track record of demonstrated problem-solving capabilities with workout and turn-around skills enabling new business projects to be implemented. Holder must have good understanding of diverse business environments and markets. All Internal Department Heads responsible for delivering the company’s products and  Services shall report to the COO.

 

Job Description

  • Advise the Management Team on key Planning issues and make recommendations on. important business decisions.
  • Strategic Planning and Resource Allocation
  • Establish Operational Processes/Process Improvement.
  • Manage Strategy Implementation, in particular
  • Ensure quality control of all Company Output as pertains to Customer Acquisition and
  • Deli very of Services
  • Set Operational and/or Performance Goals to ensure that progress is being made
  • Monitor Department Performance against Performance Goals to ensure that progress is being made.

 

Minimum Requirement/Skills Competencies

  • Ability to lead, plan and manage change
  • Passion, or the willingness to become immersed in work
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Must be between the ages of 35-50 with a minimum of 15 years experience, 5 of which should be in a Senior Management Position
  • Recognized Bachelor degree in Engineering  or Management Sciences and clearly a quality MBA would be an added advantage.

Position: Technical Director (Expatriate or Nigerian)

This is a very senior management position responsible  for the overall Technical Projects and  activities of the company. The  candidate must have 10 + years of relevant experience and  background  in Heavy Duty Trucks and equipment covering  the various  brands.

The Candidate shall be responsible for the realization and management  of all Technical and Engineering initiatives directly supervising field operation. Directly supervising the workshops and field operations. Qualification, Skills and Experience Degree in a relevant field operations.

 

Qualification, Skills and Experience

Degree in a relevant field or equivalent (preferably in Mechanical Engineering

10+ years relevant experience

Background in Heavy Duty Trucks and Equipment
