Vacancies: Facilities Manager, Property Manager

We are a Reputable Group of Companies with vast  real estate properties  in prime  areas nationwide  being used  for residential banking  and office  purposes. We have the intent to consolidate and effectively manage these properties  and are therefore  looking  for professionals with practical competencies  in facilities  and  property Management .

 

 

Position: Facilities Manager

The Facilities Manager will be involved  in both strategic  planning  and day to day operations, particularly in relation to building and premises of the estate

 

 

Qualification

  • Applicants should possess a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture
  • Certificate in facilities management

 

Experience

  • Minimum of 12 years experience in facilities maintenance and management in real estate, complexes or apartments
  • Minimum of 3 years at a senior management position
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office software

 

Responsibilities

  • Assess the current condition and maintain electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and other essential facilities and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of the condition of the equipment and other systems for the estate
  • Maintain utilities and communications infrastructure
  • Develop a system for cleaning , repair and maintenance of facilities
  • Ensure  the safety of the building  or establishment  from fire, flood and other hazards
  • Recruit facilities  service  staff and train them appropriately to ensure competent  work output
  • Coordinate with other  offices and units for things  that are  not within the scope of the facilities  service team
  • Project management supervise and coordinate  work of contractors
  • Calculate  and compare  costs for required  goods  or services to achieve maximum value for money
  • Liaise with tenants  of commercial properties
  • Direct and plan essential central services such as  reception, security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling
  • Plan best  allocation and utilization of space  and recourses for new buildings, or re-organizing  current premises
  • Respond  appropriately to emergencies or urgent  issues as  they arise
  • Grounds maintenance and horticulture.

 

Position: Property Manager

Property Manager will manage the various  estates  nationwide.

Qualification

  • Applicants should have minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Estate Management from a renowned university
  • Member of estate management council

 

Experience

  • Minimum of 15 years experience in estate management from a blue chip estate firm
  • Minimum of 5 years at a management position
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office software

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage property across the country in such a way that the look and feel of the property is maintained even decades after the property was built or acquired
  • Maintain a concise inventory of total assets in terms of property.
  • Ensure that property is kept clean and tasteful at all times
  • Ensure rents are paid as and when due by tenants
  • Ensure utilities bill are paid off as soon as they arrive
  • Ensure security of life and property
  • Create a schedule of regular evaluation of the facilities
  • Maintain utilities and communications infrastructure
