General Manager, Enterprise at a Key Player and Trend Setter in the Financial Services Industry

Our organization, a key player and trend setter in the financial services industry is desirous of filling the role:

 

Position:     General Manager, Enterprise Services (GM ES 391)

The role is responsible for:

  • Coordinating the development and implementation of Enterprise Services business plan in line with the Group’s plan and strategic direction.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of functional work plans, programme, policies and procedures
  • Providing broad oversight for the design, development, and management of the Group’s property and real estate assets.
  • Overseeing capital projects and ensuring quality delivery within cost, schedule and scope constraints.
  • Managing Group procurement in line with leading procurement practices.
  • Ensuring institutionalization of proper safety practices and standards across the Enterprise.
  • Overseeing the provision of administrative support and services to stakeholders across the Group.

 

Skills and Attributes:

  • Expert knowledge and appreciation of financial services industry peculiarities, operating model and environment and the implication for value driven deliveries.
  • Excellent knowledge of real estate development and management, procurement and supply chain, project management and general administration.
  • Visionary and strategic thinker with strong analytical background and demonstrable ability to establish goals and deliver results.
  • Strong commercial acumen, a value based orientation and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Very strong customer/stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong people development and management capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, highly organized and a go-getter.
  • High sense of professionalism and integrity.
  • Good proficiency and dexterity in the use of MS office tools.

 

Qualification and Experience:

  • A good first degree in any related discipline.
  • Relevant post graduate qualification.
  • Relevant professional certifications (an added advantage).
  • Minimum of twelve years (12) post qualification cognate experience with at least three (3) years in the financial services industry and on senior management cadre.
