Our client, a relatively new British Elementary School, Located in Maitama, Abuja, seek to hire innovative and qualified elementary school educators to join its faculty for the 2011/2012 academic year, starting September 2011. The ideal candidates will be hardworking and enthusiastic teaching professionals with excellent subject knowledge and a sound understanding of the British elementary school curriculum.
Position: Head of School (Expatriates can apply for this position): Ref: BE 51
Requirements/Duties
- The School Head: who must have a minimum of 6 years school management level experience in a similar school, will work with minimal supervision. He or she provides leadership in and oversight for day-to-day operations of the school. He or She advises and supports the School board in developing best practices in all aspects of the school.
Position: Pre-School/Early School Teachers: Ref: BE 52
Duties
- The position will involve teaching students in Years 1 to 7 and also assisting in the encouragement of extra-curricular activities.
- The applicants will be self motivated individuals with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to love learning and excel in the subject area.
Position: Key Stage 1 and 2 Teachers: Ref: BE 53
Duties
- The position will involve teaching students in Years 1 to 7 and also assisting in the encouragement of extra-curricular activities.
