Position: Health Environmental & Safety (HES) Specialist (BADAGRY)
Reporting to HES Manager
With job responsibilities in the company’s Compressor station in Lagos Beach -Badagry and Regulating and Metering Station in – Benin.
Position exists to:
- Support field implementation of HES systems and programs
- Develop, monitor and ensure compliance with the HES management system
- Identify HES training needs, organize and coordinate HES programs and activities
- Monitor and report HES performance
- Review and update HES Practices, including emergency procedures, annually Implement the emergency response program
Key Competencies Required
- A degree in Engineering or Sciences, preferably Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with 5 years’ minimum experience with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in HES in the oil & gas industry; NEBOSH certificate or equivalent will be an advantage

Position: Environmental Specialist
Reporting to the HES Manager
The position will be based in Lagos Beach, Badagry but has responsibility across the Company’s other locations in the sub-region.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing environmental management systems/strategies and programmes to ensure compliance with
- regulatory requirements.
- Environmental Management Planning
- Environmental monitoring audits.
- Employee and contractor training and awareness in Environmental issues
- Compliance Reporting
- Incident Investigation
- Environmental Impact Assessment
Key competencies required
- A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Environmental Assessments
- Remediation, Restoration, and Reclamation
- Environmental Regulations relating to Oil & Gas industry
- Pollution Prevention, Abatement, and Control
- Waste Management Systems, Processes, and Procedures
- Sampling and Analytical Work related to Environmental Activities

- Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER)
- Use of Dispersion Modeling Software
- Proficiency in MS Office
