Position: International Trade Division (ITD) Manager

Job Summary
- The International Trade Division manager will be responsible for the overall management of related tasks regarding inspections, certifications and programme management for Agrifoods and commodities within our ITD business line.
- He/ she will be responsible for managing a team of inspectors and growing the business in a sustainable and profitably manner
Responsibilities
- In charge of International Trade Division business line (Agrifoods and commodities) which covers products such as grains, fruits, meat and fishery products, fertilizers, etc,
- Supervision of a team of inspectors
- Responsible for inspections conducted at production sites, loading and unloading points
- Strong emphasis on profitable growth development of business line with existing and new clients
- Organizes the allocation of specific staff resources according to qualification and experience
- Write technical and commercial proposals, develop business plans, resource and financial budgets
- Domestic and international travel as required
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with the company code of ethics
- Carry out additional duties related to those described above according to the company
Qualities and Professional Capacities
- Must have a University Engineering degree or Agro-based science qualification
- Excellent selling and business development skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Agrifoods and commodities inspection as well as 5 years of personnel management experience
- Excellent contact network within Agrifoods and commodities companies
- Team player, customer and results oriented
- Strong management and communication abilities
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ,
- Language skills: Fluent in English. French as an additional language would be a significant advantage.
Position: Industry Manager
Location: Lagos
Reports To: Operations Director
Job Summary
- The industry business line provides industrial markets with Asset integrity Management and Quality Assurance and Quality Control services all along the lifecycle of industrial assets and equipment (CAPEX & OPEX),
- The Industry Manager will be in charge of the business line for all Lagos based clients.
- Activities will cover the full spectrum of the value chain; including the identification of new opportunities, technical specification clarifications, technical and commercial proposal writing, client negotiations, service delivery and cash collection.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of Lagos based inspectors
- Approximately 50% of his/ her time is expected to be spent at client sites performing or reviewing inspection work
- Generate high value added technical and commercial proposals, develop business plans, resource and financial budgets
- Domestic and international travel as required
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with the company Quality Management System
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with the company code of ethics
- Carry out additional duties related to those described above according to the needs of the company
Qualities and Professional Capacities
- Should have a B.Eng / HND degree in engineering from a reputable university.
- 15 years plus experience in the oil and gas industry of which at least 10 years must be hands-on experience gained performing on site conformity assurance inspection (civil mechanical and electrical) work with clients
- Should possess a number of certificates of competence or qualification enabling testing and inspecting of equipment (e.g. lifting equipment, cranes, electrical installations, mechanical structures, pressure vessels, etc)
- In depth knowledge of the main industry design codes (API, ASME, etc) applicable to the both the civil construction industry as well as the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent contact network to generate more business within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) companies
- Must be a team player, self-motivated, customer and results oriented
- Strong management and communication abilities
- Good knowledge of MS Office {Word, Excel PowerPoint)
- Language skills: Fluent in English. French as an additional language would be a significant advantage.
