A Reputable Media Agency and its subsidiary company with head office in Lagos require seasoned professionals to fill the under listed positions:

 

Position: Manager, Buying and Control (for media agency)

 

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from a reputable institution
  • MBA would be an added advantage.
  • Must have a minimum of 7 years hands-on experience at least 3 of which should be in a senior mgt advertising agency.
  • Must be a registered member of APCON.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite-word and excel
  • Must be between the ages of 32-40 years.

 

Job Description

  • Keep up to date with activities in the socio-economic development in Nigeria.
  • Track trends in the  media  industry’s development: media interplay, research figures, audience change;
  • Monitor competitive buying strategies Negotiate with media companies/partners to obtain the best rates   and   most   appropriate   media spaces in  broadcast, OOH, digital and print advertising media.
  • Ensure booking of media campaign in line   with   agreed   execution strategies/timelines among others.

Job Description

  • Liaise with the creative agency team, client’s    contact    and    consumers    to develop media       strategies       and campaigns.
  • Analyse data using specialist software like Mediastar.
  • Identify target audiences and analyse their   characteristics, behaviour   and media habits.
  • Recommend    the    most    appropriate types of media to use, as well as the most effective time spans and locations.
  • Lead strategy document presentations.
