Vacancies: Plant Manager, Shift Engineers, Technician (Electrical)

 

One of Nigeria’s foremost conglomerates is seeking to recruit vibrant, dynamic and self-motivated candidates to fill the positions below in the following subsidiaries:

 

Position: Plant Manager (Independent Power Generating Company)

Responsibilities:

  • The plant manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. He has responsibilities for the technical and commercial activities of the company.
  • He must possess excellent planning, organizing, communicating and leadership abilities.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years post qualification experience in high voltage gen­eration and Distribution Company.
  • Good knowledge of gas and steam generators will be an added advantage.

 

Qualification:

  • Applicants must possess B.sc or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

 

Position: Shift Engineers (Independent Power Generating Company)

The Shift Engineer who will report to the Plant Manager will be respon­sible for the technical operations of the company during a shift. He must possess excellent supervisory skills.

 

Experience

  • Applicants must have 8 years post qualification experience in a high voltage generation and Distribution Company, knowledge of gas and steam generators will be an added advantage.

 

Qualification

  • Candidate must possess B.sc or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

 

Position: Technician (Electrical) – Independent Power Generating Company

  • He must have a hands-on experience in maintenance and general electrical works.

 

Experience:

  • Applicant should have  8 years of experience.

 

Qualification

  • City and Guilds or Trade Test in general electrical works
