Exciting opportunities in Healthcare located in Oghara, Delta State our client is a tertiary health Institution offering qualitative healthcare services, research, undergraduate and post-graduate training. The institute is currently embarked on a major expansion program designed to position it as the leading healthcare institution in the country. To meet the increasing need for strategic leadership, the institution now seeks to strengthen the workforce and invites applications from professionals who wish to offer their services on a full time or contract basis, seasoned professionals who have recently retired from active service, as well as all suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:

 

Position:  Principal Engineer (Civil Engineering) – Ref. HTD/113/PEC

The Role

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will be working in a team. In this capacity, you will:

  • Undertake technical and feasibility studies/site investigations
  • Resolve design and development problems
  • Manage budgets and project resources
  • Liaise with clients and a variety of professionals, including architects and sub-contractors, to ensure projects run smoothly

 

The Person

  • Degree-qualified in mechanical engineering or any related engineering discipline (possession of a relevant trade test certificate will be an advantage)
  • Minimum of 12 years’ hands-on experience in civil engineering
  • Registration with relevant engineering bodies will be an advantage

 

Position: Facilities Manager (Ref. HTD/113/FM)

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Administration, you will be responsible for the management of services and processes that support the core business of the institution. You will:

  • Be involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises
  • Co-ordinate procurement and contract management; building and grounds maintenance; cleaning, catering and vending; health and safety; security, utilities and communications infrastructure; space management

 

The Person

  • Degree-qualified in facilities management or any related property management discipline (possession of a relevant post-graduate degree will be an advantage)
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in property management
  • Registration with relevant bodies is an advantage

 

Position: Estate Manager (Ref. HTD/113/EM)

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Administration, you will work directly with the management team to plan and execute the overall management of the institution’s properties. You will:

  • Manage the timely provision of property support services
  • Effectively screen and oversee vendors and contractors

 

The Person

  • Degree-qualified in Estate Management or any related property management discipline (possession of a relevant post-graduate degree will be an advantage)
  • At least 10 years’ experience in property management and valuation
  • Registered with and a member of relevant bodies such as NIESV and ESVARBON
