Our client, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria with over 20 years of active existence requires qualified candidates to fill the positions below in her factory situated in Oyo State.
Position: Production Manager
As a production manager you shall be involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes. You will also ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently.
Job Description
- As a production manager you shall be involved with the planning, coordination and control of the entire manufacturing processes.
- You shall have to always ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently and at the right level of quality.
- Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production, schedule.
- Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
- Planning of the human and requirements f or full capacity utilization,
- Drafting job time scales for all production line and manual activities
- Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed
- Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment
- Monitoring products standards and implementing quality control programmes
- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Qualification and Experience
- Applicants should have 5-8 years working experience in the Pharmaceutical industry as a senior officer in the production department
- Experience as a production manager is an added advantage
- Applicants must be a pharmacist
- Candidate must possess B.Pharm and other suitable qualification, MBA or M.sc preferred.

Position: Production Pharmacist
As a production pharmacist you shall be involved with the planning, coordination and control of the daily manufacturing processes especially with reference to the pharmaceutical operations. You will also ensure that goods and service are produced efficiently.
Job Description
- You shall he involved m planning and organizing the manufacturing process of the company.
- Implements operational manuals, production plans and programs.
- Ensure conformance of manufacturing processes with organizational objectives, polices and regulatory guidelines with the coordination of production executives/assistance manager production
- Check the availability of adequate raw materials, packing materials etc from time to time in line with production plans
- Fulfills the monthly and weekly production plans according to the schedule
- Ensure that all standard yields are maintained by production lines
- Controls production process and production facilities
- Ensures the general cleaning and hygienic conditions of the manufacturing areas
- Ensures s that all production equipments are maintained in good working order.
Qualification and Experience
- Applicants must possess B.Pharm with minimum of 1-2 years working experience
- Applicants should possess strong excellent managerial, planning and organizational skills
- Ability to quantify and measure operational results and effectiveness
- Must be computer literate and must be computer literate.
