Due to ongoing expansion and continued growth, the company is currently seeking for dynamic, self motivated and highly-skilled professionals to fill the positions below
Position: Production Supervisors (Ref: APIL/11/SR)
Desired candidates will Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in mixing, grinding, thinning, tinting, cooking, or clarifying pigments and other ingredients used in making paints and related products.
Main Responsibilities:
Verifies batch tickets for compliance with master formula; Plans production schedules to coordinate departmental activities; Pigment pastes and other colour formulations; Verities batch tickets for compliance with master formula; Calculates batch quantities to ensure utilization of production capacity; evaluates laboratory control-test results and tests batches of paint, using equipment such as grind-gauge, colorimeter, and viscometer, to verify adherence to specifications; trains new workers; Performs other duties as described under Supervisor.
Essential Requirements:
- 4+ years experience in a similar field, i.e. Chemical experience with all of the materials mentioned above. Colour formulation and pigment Pastes.
- A strong knowledge of Paints and related products manufacturing operations/industry.
Desirables:
- Candidates should have B.sc, M.sc (Chemistry/Biochemistry) or M .Sc (Paint technology) or M.tech (paint technology), but focus will be on experience.
