Sales Manager in a Reputable Multinational Company

A leading Multinational is looking for a position that will have a strategic role with responsibilities focused on developing and managing the sales team for maximum growth of the Nigerian subsidiary.

 

Position: Sales Manager

 

Based in Lagos, the person will be responsible to assigns sales territories and/or accounts to the sales force;

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides training on key sales concepts and measures that are critical to the business.
  • Develops strong customer relationships and participates in contract negotiations.
  • Provides input to the development of the annual sales forecast.
  • Coaches Sales representatives to improve and/or  develop new skills and competencies according to the sales development plan.
  • Tracks channel performance using standard metrics (margin, turnover, coverage, etc.).
  • Shares best practices with other sales managers/supervisors and sales  representatives across locations/country and Provides input on the short- to mid-term sales and pricing strategy as well  as customer satisfaction objectives.

 

 

Requirements:

Reporting to the General Manager,

  • The candidate must have 3 – 5 years management experience in a Sales Management role and related qualifications.
  • A multinational experience is an advantage.
