Position: Shipping Manager (Lagos) REF: A/01/11/11
Requirement
- The right candidate for this job should preferably be aged between 35 and 45 years and possess a minimum qualification of H.N.D or it’s equivalent in Shipping and Freight forwarding, a higher degree will be an added advantage.
- He must have a minimum of 10 years cognate experience.
- The ideal candidate must have hand-on experience in Shipping and related operations and must have very sound marketing skills and excellent customer relations practice. He must be conversant with Long Room processing and stevedoring.
- He must be capable of registering with all agencies and bringing in vessel to berth, as well as sailing vessel.
- Must also be a seasoned agent/person in clearing of goods from Sea and Air Ports across Nigeria.
- Must be computer literate and be of impeccable character.
Position: Stevedore Manager Ref: B/02/11/11
Requirements
- The ideal candidate should preferably be aged between 45 and 50 years, must possess a minimum of H.N.D or it’s equivalent in Shipping and Freight forwarding, a higher degree will be an added advantage.
- He must possess at least 10years experience in the Freight and Logistic business in Nigeria, as well as detailed knowledge of the Nigerian Customs Tariff and Labour Laws.
- The ideal candidate must be able to plan, organize, supervises and coordinates operations and activities of workers engaged in loading and unloading and general handing of ship’s cargoes, be able to studies bills of lading and the stowage plan to determine sequence of loading and unloading operations, prepare report of stevedoring activities such as number of personnel required per shift, number of personnel required per shift, number of hours and Statement of Facts (FOS) for every vessels berth and discharge.
- Coordinate with relevant Government Agencies to ensure that operation comply with current rules and regulations.
- The ideal candidate must be computer literate and possess impeccable characters
