A Newly Established Agency in Lagos State seeks to engage a Technical Assistant for its Chief Executive Officer.
Position: Technical Assistant
The scope of responsibilities for this position includes:
- Developing Terms of Reference, supervision of consultancy services as the implementation and development of programs and other regulatory strategies
- Proving technical support on strategic planning and program design and development programs including Implementation, monitoring and evaluation of relevant projects
- Providing support for program growth through technical support of proposals and identification of opportunities for resource mobilization
- Initiate and support the establishment of partnership with organizations (NGOs, Private Sector and Government establishments) to promote the organization’s mandate
- Initiate and maintain relationships and collaboration with relevant international development, government advocacy, donors, research and academic institutions
- Development of Revenue projections and framework for implementation and sustainability of the organization.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position is expected to possess the following:
- Master’s degree in Project Management or a relevant field with 10years’ experience in a similar role
- Must be able to demonstrate acute knowledge of Regulatory Principles
- Must demonstrate skills in proposal writing for public and other donors, as well as project design and implementation skills
- Familiarity with strategic planning methodologies and guidelines development
- Must possess strong managerial, interpersonal and representation skills
- Willing to travel to provide technical assistance, capacity building, program implementation, monitoring and evaluation for up to one third of time
- Prior work experience in administrative role supporting a large team
- Ability to work and resolve problems independently and manage projects from concept to completion, and handle multiple projects with varying schedules and deadlines
- Advanced Computer skills including MS office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and GIS)
Duration of Assignment: Six (6) months (Renewable)
