A Multinational Organization as a result of consistent growth and expansion in operation urgently requires the services of competent, highly motivated and qualified candidates for the below position:
Position: Marine Surveyor
Requirements:
- Hold a BSC/HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline registrable with COREN Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and Institute of Marine Engineers (IMarE)
- Class 1 Marine Engineer.
- Have sailed at least 3 years as Marine Engineering Officer on Supply or Seagoing ships.
- Not more than 35 years of age.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be competent and experienced in technical report writing.
- Must be computer literate experienced in using MS-Word/Excel software and adequate knowledge of computer as it relates to engine controlled by computer.
- Must be able to work in any location and travel when required within West African countries.
- Be conversant with safe working practices.
- Must be able to work all shifts, overtime, weekend and holidays when needed and required
- Ability to work under minimal or no supervision
- Ability to work under pressure
- The person must have integrity and be able to provide referees of persons with reputable character
- Bi-lingual (English & French) capabilities would be an added advantage
