Position: Service Engineers, Mechanical (Ref.-MECHEN6/03)
Location: Lagos Base
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing mechanical field service/survey assistance as directed on land and marine based applications
- Providing commissioning, overhauling and other service activities for Wartsila installations
- Performing workshop and repair services as directed
- Participating in technical discussions and communicating with Wartsila product companies
- Providing internal and external reporting and as-built documentation and other discipline-related data administration
Qualification and Experience Required:
- Mechanical Engineering degree with knowledge of Marine/Diesel Engines
- Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in Marine and Power operations working on vessels engines and propulsion systems including land-based engines
- Knowledge of relevant Engineering Codes and Standards
- Good sense of Safety and Security
Position: Service Engineers, Electrical
Location: Lagos Base
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing electrical field service activities including commissioning and supervising the erection of Wartsila installations
- Participating in electrical technical discussions and giving technical advice to customers and network companies
- Performing suppliers product and hand-over inspections and providing internal and external reports and as-built documentation
- Implementing Quality Control requirements for on-site repair and modification work in compliance with Engineering Standards
Qualification and Experience Required:
- Electrical Engineering degree with knowledge of gas/diesel engines electrical systems.
- Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in operations maintenance and troubleshooting of gas/diesel engines in Power and Gas operations
- Knowledge of relevant Engineering Codes and Standards
- Basic PLC and other Control Systems software knowledge
- Working knowledge of IFC Electrical and control standards
- Understanding of Electrical protection, isolations and control system safety integration including installation and inspection procedures
- Practical knowledge of relevant software such as AutoCad, PLC, HMI and SCADA software
- Good sense of Safety and Security
Position: PLC (Controls) Engineer (Ref. – PLC/05)
Location: Lagos Base
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support on PLCs and control systems for efficient operation, maintenance, upgrade and replacements
- Ensuring control systems and PLCs are installed and maintained in compliance with Global Best Practices and statutory codes
Qualification and Experience Required;
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics/Instrument Engineering
- Recognized training in PLC design and support
- Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in Marine/Power industry environment
- Working knowledge of IEC Electrical and control system standards
- Working knowledge of PLC systems including
- knowledge of instrumentation, programming and Supervisory control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
