Position: Technical Officer, Clinical Services

The Technical Officer, Clinical Services will provide technical and programmatic support to implement high quality care and support activities with primary focus on clinical management of HIV/AIDS, PMTCT, Reproductive Health/Family Planning (RH/FP), TB and integrated medical services at the state level.

 

Minimum Recruitment Standards:

  • MBBS with 1 to 3 years relevant experience in clinical care with a sound under­standing of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained settings
  • Possession of an MPH or post graduate degree in a related field is required.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is desir­able.

 

Position: Technical Officer, Laboratory Services

Location:             Abuja, Borno

 

The Technical Officer, Laboratory Services, will liaise with the Senior Technical Of­ficer (Lab Services) to provide technical support and implement high quality laboratory ser­vices for FHI 360 Nigeria programs including adherence to relevant professional standards and guidelines, and involvement with laboratory clinical governance issues and audit.

 

Minimum Recruitment Standards:

  • B.Sc in Laboratory sciences or related field with 5-7 years post NYSC experience and a minimum of 3 years experience in provision of laboratory support for HIV/AIDS.
  • Or MSc. in Laboratory sciences or related field with 3-5 years post NYSC experience and a minimum of 3 years experience in provision of laboratory support for HIV/AIDS.
  • Knowledge of advanced laboratory procedures, diagnosis and management related to HIV/AIDS care and treatment is required with some experience in international development organization preferred.
  • Certification of license to practice as a medical laboratory scientist is required.
  • Expertise in hematology, TB and blood safety issues will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs highly desirable
